Reporting Absences

WE NEED YOUR HELP WHEN REPORTING ABSENCES

The NH Dept. of Health requests at the start of the academic year that all schools track possible cases of the flu.

If your child is sick with these symptoms, please report it to the front office when you phone to say your child will be absent.

Symptoms of Flu like illness are:

Fever >100 degrees

Cough

Sore throat and a runny nose

Body aches or headache and fatigue

Sometimes nausea and diarrhea

Thank you for your cooperation in offering information about the reason for your child’s absence when you call in.

Also:

If your child has a fever of 100 degrees or more, please keep him/her home until he/she has been fever free (without medication) for at least 24 hours. Practicing good hand washing, coughing into your elbow, refraining from sharing personal items recognizing the signs and symptoms of the flu will help us prevent the spread of the flu in our community.

Thank you for your support and cooperation in helping us manage the flu season.
