Thoughts of INK

Students ... for your final "Ink Drawing" you will choose from one of the following two strategies;

• Daily Monster - spread a drop of ink with air pressure (mouth or can) and use the resulting abstract shape as a starting point to create a monster.
• Mary Doodles - create a silhouette in pencil and then use a "wet on wet" technique to create abstract affects.

The final dimensions should be 8" x 8"s. When your initial inking is dry you should complete your drawing with markers, pen nibs or ink washes. The resulting drawing should be neat, detailed, well thought out and display a high level of craftsmanship.
