Most new Google Apps accounts will have this gadget on the startpage. However, if you accidentally remove it and need to put it back, here's how to do this:

To get the calendar gadget, from the start page, click on “add stuff” and the do a search for “netvibes calendar”
Go ahead and add it, then return to your start page. You’ll need to set some settings to get it to go. Click on the down arrow on the new Google Calendar on your start page:
Click on “Edit settings”:
For the 1st HTML calendar link, copy and paste this URL: https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/gts.edu/embed?src=gts.edu_80r0bs9n4fq927vih67a19h594%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York&pvttk=399af92572fce66ff7bbce5480e4f27a (be sure there are no line breaks in the URL)
Check the box next to Apps Domain
Set the Time Zone for Eastern time
Click save
(If the whole calendar does not show, adjust the height size up to 460, 480 or 500)
