Week of 8/23-8/29:
Dear Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I wanted to share a few important reminders and upcoming dates to help us all stay on track.
Classroom Reminders:
Snack time happens daily in our classroom. Please ensure your student brings an easy-to-eat item that can be finished in 5-10 minutes. To keep our classroom clean and tidy, I ask that only water be sent during snack time to prevent sticky spills.
We have recently started weekly spelling practice. Your child will bring home a black and white composition notebook with the weekly spelling lists inside. I encourage you to practice these words with your child throughout the week. Please send the notebooks back daily so I can check the homework.
Our class visited the library for the first time on Friday and will continue visiting every Friday. Please make sure your student returns their books each Friday so they can check out new ones. Fee notices were sent home for any books that may still be checked out from last year.
Graded weekly papers will be sent home every Monday. I appreciate you taking time to review your student's work with them.
