I am excited to serve as your child's teacher this year! This marks my 22nd year in education. My initial 3 1/2 years included teaching 4th-7th grades in both self-contained and resource settings within Abbeville County. I then spent 12 years at Robert E. Cashion Elementary School, beginning with 9 years in a primary self-contained classroom (1st-3rd grade) and followed by 3 years in an intermediate self-contained classroom (3rd-5th grade). Currently, I am in my 7th year teaching 3rd-5th grade self-contained classes at Fountain Inn Elementary. I am highly qualified in general special education, learning disabilities, and mental disabilities. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in special education from Erskine College and a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.
I married my husband, David, in June 2004. We have four children: Chasity, Landon, Jonas, and Hannah. Our family began with Landon’s arrival in 2006, followed by Jonas in 2009. In December 2013, my husband and I were fortunate to adopt two more children, Chasity and Hannah. In addition to our children, we have two dogs named Reesie and Scottie, three cats named Holly, Kevin, and Phyllis, and one guinea pigs named Gracie.
