Students in sixth grade language arts, advanced language arts, and Challenge language arts will focus on five components: reading literature, reading informational texts, writing, speaking/listening, and language. Course objectives will be accomplished with lectures, visual presentations, PowerPoint presentations, games, cooperative groups, pairs, and individual work. This course is in scope and sequence with the Greenville County Curriculum requirements and the State Standards.
