• Read for 20 minutes each night

• Math Review sheet due Friday

• Practice reading and writing the most common words

• Please charge your chromebook each night.

• Please send a note if your child will be getting an early dismissal. 

• Good News Club will
  not meet on Tuesday, January 6th, but will
  resume on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

• PTA will host two BINGO nights in January. Come win some prizes! 

  • Last names A - M will play on January 12th from 6:15 pm-7:30 pm. 

  • Last names N -Z will play on January 13th from 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm. 

• We will have Class Picture Day on Wednesday, January 14th. This picture will be available for purchase.

• Temperature considerations and suggested dress: 

Below 60 degrees - Jacket and or long sleeves recommended 

Below 50 degrees - Coat and long pants recommended 

              Below 45 degrees - Gloves and hats along with    

                 previously mentioned items 

Below 32 degrees - Indoor recess and PE classes

Students will continue focusing on reading with accuracy and studying point of view. 

Students will begin learning about and writing poetry. 

 Students will begin composing numbers up to 20 using objects. We will also represent and solve a word problem with an unknown number. 

Students will explore the moon and the different phases.
