ESOL course tracking sheet

Using the WIDA key use statements, I created a support document for my colleagues and I to track the progress of our students and to help plan our syllabi. This helps us ensure continuity of instruction as students move through the program and it also helps us predict the improvement our students have made. If a class has achieved 80% mastery (or better) on a particular skill, we enter a 1 in the column next to the skill. We then are able to use a very simple formula to predict the level of achievement the student has made toward the goal of exiting the ESOL program.
