My name is Kelly Hueble. I have been a teacher for MLs (Multilingual Learners) for nine years. I direct the Multilingual Learner Program at Plain Elementary School in Simpsonville, SC. The 2025 -2026 school year is my thirtieth year as a teacher in Greenville County Schools. It is my first year at Plain, and I am thrilled to be joining this learning community. Prior to this year, I taught multilingual learners at Summit Drive Elementary, Stone Academy, AJ Whittenberg Elementary, Gateway Elementary, Heritage Elementary, and Tigerville Elementary. Before I became an MLP teacher, I taught first grade for fourteen years at Summit Drive Elementary in Greenville and for six years at Heritage Elementary School in Travelers Rest.
I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern College in Lakeland, FL in 1995. I was certified as an Early Childhood Generalist by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in 2001 and re-certified in 2011. I was chosen as Summit Drive's Teacher of the Year in 2007. I completed my master's degree in education in 2009. I attained certification for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in 2016.
