Stone Academy School Counseling Department's Mission Statement  

The mission of the School Counseling Department at Stone Academy of Communication Arts is to provide a comprehensive and developmental counseling program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career development interwoven with the arts and enriched with creative problem solving experiences for all students to help them achieve long term success, as well as respective and responsible citizens in their community.  In partnership with other educators, family members and community members, the Stone Academy School Counselor will facilitate academic achievement and healthy development through individual student planning, guidance curriculum, responsive services and system support.

The mission of Stone Academy of Communication Arts is to prepare all students for lifelong learning by actively engaging students in a comprehensive, sequential, academic program interwoven with the arts and enriched with creative problem-solving experiences appropriate for all learning styles.

The vision of Stone Academy of Communications Arts School Counseling Program is for every student to be provided with a safe and positive learning environment that also promotes creativity and diversity through a developmentally appropriate counseling services.  Every student will acquire the academic, career and personal/social skills to reach their fullest educational potential and successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible, life-long learners, and productive citizens who respect themselves and others.   The counseling program strives to collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and other school and community members to promote student success in all developmental areas:  academic, personal/social, and career.
