HOW TO APPLY

FAC Application Now Open - Click Here to Apply

The application will include a short question-and-answer section, as well as an opportunity to post a video or other materials to assess your talent and work ethic. Submit up to five minutes of your best video work. It can be a single project or segments of several things. It can be a drama, comedy, documentary, music video, commercial, animation, or experimental. You can also submit photography or writing samples instead of (or in addition to) a video. There are examples of films below that other successful applicants submitted. On Saturday, Nov. 22nd, I will be hosting a workshop to help applicants navigate the application process. You can sign up here

It's a good idea to go ahead and log in early to the application to see what it involves. You'll still have until Jan 15th to complete it.

An in-person interview will be scheduled for all applicants who complete the application. It doesn't matter what kind of camera you use for your audition video. A cell phone or iPad is fine. The composition of the shots is more important than the camera's quality. Many students record and edit their audition video on a handheld device.

Cute Cut and iMovie are apps that have free versions you can use on your cell phone to edit your film. Click here for a list of tools available for editing and scriptwriting to help you if needed.

The application is due Jan. 15th.
