Hello Chandler Creek families, I am Natalie Hooker, your new school counselor. I am so excited to get to know you and your children!

I grew up in Florence, South Carolina and graduated from West Florence High School. I did not take the traditional route to college; instead, I explored the world working for American Airlines. I then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area with my family, and this is where I decided to pursue my Bachelor of Science at University of Pittsburgh. I graduated in 2013. I took a few years off to spend time with my kids and then pursued my Masters in School Counseling (PK-12) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I graduated in 2020. I am excited to be back in South Carolina!

My husband, Mark and I have two children. Our daughter Drew is a second-year student at the University of Utah while being a professional skier (we tried to get her to go to Clemson, but unfortunately the snow is kind of scarce), and our son Grayson is in fourth grade and loves baseball. We are an “All In” family cheering for the Tigers and now the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. So, you will see me occasionally trade in my Clemson colors for black and gold! As a family we enjoy paddle boarding, snow skiing, biking, hiking, and now we have picked up pickleball! This is going to be a fabulous year serving your children! I look forward to meeting y’all, yinz, or you guys!
