6 - Goals

Each year our cadets are required to develop goals that are submitted to Headquarters.  Each goal must meet SMART standards. (Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Time(cost) frame).  

Suspense:  NLT 1 October goals need to be submitted to SASI for approval! Goals will be published when approved!

Cadet Impact


1) Reduce average cadet mile-run by 2 mins


2) 80% of cadets pass at least one promotion test

School Impact


1) Recruit 20+ cadets to enroll in the AFJROTC program


2) Establish a competition Rifle Drill team


Community Impact


1) Achieve an average 8 community service hours per cadet (AAH, Recycling, Harvest Hope)


2) Complete 3 canned food drives to donate to Harvest Hope and/or Carolina Closet

Each Cadet should be briefed Monthly by their Flight Commander on the status of reaching the goals.

 Fund Raising & Community Service  ideas should be presented to the Corps Commander at the weekly staff meeting.Other goals in the past have been field trips to the CNN, Charleston, Ft Jackson, air shows, local war museums, to fly in a C-130 or C-17,  visit Donaldson Center, first ever military parade or military dining- in to be held at Carolina High, as well as 8 scheduled trips this school year to Harvest Hope food pantry to help build boxes, sort food, and provide a valuable service to the community.Fund Raising participation and Community Service hours will count towards field trip eligibility, as well as passing grades.  Do your share to be eligible to participate in the field trips.
