We are required by the Connecticut State Department of Health to periodically test Eastbury School's well water quality. Recent routine testing of water at Eastbury School includes periodic testing for lead and copper levels. The testing results and locations of sample sites are also posted in the Eastbury School building near water fountains.
As a general precaution, we have replaced the drinking water sources from the well with water coolers several years ago. Please be assured that these alternative drinking water sources will remain in effect until such time that testing of all potential water contaminants from the well are below the legal Action level or totally eliminated.
If you have any questions, please contact Glastonbury Public Schools Director of Environmental Health & Safety, Dr. Ken Roy (860-652-7200, ext. 12002).
