Journalism

Journalism is a project-based, real-world writing course providing you with opportunities to practice a range of genres of journalistic writing for a variety of purposes and audiences. Throughout the year, you will build professional skills such as investigative research, collaboration, project management, critical thinking, written and oral communication, and much more. This course is primarily focused on print and digital journalism rather than broadcast journalism, so we will explore forms such as newspapers, magazines, and nonfiction journalistic books.
