Advisement class meets once per week every Wednesday after fourth period. During this 30 minute period, students review strategies for navigating through social, emotional, and academic challenges presented to them in their lives. Classroom discussions and readings help students think critically about their attitudes and reactions to life situations. In addition, students reflect on their grades and behavior to set specific goals for themselves. Time for career exploration is also provided through the SmartFutures platform.
