Chapter 5: Functions and Tables

During Chapter 5, we do a short unit on sequences and series with the focus on arithmetic and geometric. This unit takes the place of the book lessons from Investigation 5B but I have labeled the lessons all 5B since it is the second unit we do from Chapter 5. Investigation 5A includes finding recursive and closed definition of functions which we use in 5B. 5C includes sums of Geometric Series to explore loans and investments as well as other topics. The concepts learned in 5B were moved from Algebra 2 to Advanced Math to more closely math the sequence of Common Core.
