The Watson Institute The Watson Institute helps children with special needs achieve their fullest potential in all aspects of their lives. Autism Internet Modules A resource for professional development for any individual working with, living with, or supporting a person with autism. Topics are both for professionals and family and include a variety of topics.

AFIRM Modules A resource for those looking for evidence based practices for those addressing the needs of a person with autism. They cover a multitude of topics including ones for paraprofessionals.

Family Resources:

CHSC - CHSC combines resources from the State of Iowa, the Iowa Department of Education, the Iowa Department of Human Services, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to administer the Iowa Regional Autism Assistance Program.

First Words Project A project to identify early signs of autism, language disorders, and communication delays for children 9-24 months of age. This site has great handouts and resources for providers and parents.
