Members & Membership

Membership is open to testing professionals in post-secondary institutions operating within the state of Georgia. There is no cost to join. To join, please send an e-mail to (tbeebe@georgiasouthern.edu) the ListServ and Website Chair to add your name to the GCTA ListServ. The ListServ allows testing professionals to ask questions of other professional testing staff throughout the state of Georgia.   Below is the list of Georgia Colleges and University with the main contact information for each campus.  


NCTA Certified Testing Centers in Georgia

NCTA Certified Test Centers are certified for five years and then must recertify to maintain the NCTA Certified Test Center status.

Board Nominations

The GCTA will hold elections for board members at the GCTA Conference which takes each May.  The responsibilities of board members are to attend two board meetings, attend the May Conference, and help with the operations of GCTA.  You can nominate yourself or someone else, by completing the GCTA Board Nominations Form to nominate an individual by the deadline.  Nominations are currently closed but floor nominations can be made on  March 4, 2024, by 9:00 AM.  

Conference Presentation Proposal

Consider sharing your expertise with GCTA by submitting an educational proposal to present at the GCTA Conference in May.  Please complete the GCTA Conference Educational Proposal Form to submit your proposal.  Proposals are open until March 4, 2024, by 9:00 AM.  Potential Topics: Best Practices, Data Reporting, Marketing Your Testing Center, Customer Service, Handling Emergencies, Tips for New Testing Professionals, GED Testing, Preparing and Implementing ACCUPLACER, Testing Security, and any other topics you feel will be beneficial to the group.
