To break up the monotony of writing code or labeling pawprints we have instituted "Album of the Week." The selected album is played each day, in its entirety. Lab members can choose any album they want, but you need a decent reason for making us all listen to it.

After years of awkwardly stacking cages onto a wobbly cart, wrapping the whole thing in a sheet of butcher's paper, and waking the neighbors as we noisily squeak down the halls to the CatWalk room, we have developed a better way. Introducing the Neckel Lab Cart, aka, "The Bus." Now we can transport up to 16 rat cages in comfort and style!
Stuff breaks. It can be a real problem for our robotic parts. Sure, we can epoxy plastic cuffs back onto metal bars, but that only lasts until it doesn't, and you have to re-epoxy it. Thank goodness for 3D printing. Now, not only to we get longer lasting parts, but they come in so many colors. Who doesn't like robin's egg blue actuators?
