I am a Professor of Economics at the School of Foreign Service and Department of Economics at Georgetown University.

My research focuses on International Migration, International Trade and Political Economy.

I am a Research Fellow of CEPR, CReAM and IZA.

I obtained a PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 2003, and a Laurea in Economics from the University of Roma, La Sapienza in 1997.
