Teaching

As Department Chair (2021-2024, 2024-2027), I will only teach two classes a year. Classes I have taught range from our first level UG class "Introduction to Language" to graduate-level courses, such as "Research and Design." I also have 33 graduated Ph.D. students, many of whom now hold tenure or positions as full professors or work directing academic or government programs. In 2019, my teaching was recognized with Georgetown's Presidential Scholar-Teacher Award.
