Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is comprised of students in grades 9-12. The Symphonic Band will play an advanced repertoire, challenging students to further develop their musicality and technique on their instruments. The Symphonic Band will perform concerts throughout the year as well as participate in the SCDBA Concert Band MPA. The Symphonic Band received a Superior rating in 2008, 2010, 2012-2015, and 2018. Students are also eligible for honors credit. These students meet after school for ten sessions during the spring semester. Sessions include music theory, music history, and listening exercises.

Marching Band

The Wildcat Marching Band is an award winning performing group with a long and proud tradition of excellence. The Wildcat Marching Band represents the school and community in the performances that the band gives throughout the state. During marching season (August-October), the marching band rehearses after school, performs at all home football games, competes in competitions and may perform in parades or at other community events.
