Integration Lessons

Something that makes Highland School of Technology unique from other high schools is how teachers work together to develop integrations that demonstrate to students how each subject is linked to other subjects and the real world. Students value their education when they can see what they learn in school connect to what they do in their everyday life. Also, we are making life long learner when students understand the connection between what they learn and how it can be used in the future.

An integration can be as simple as a classroom warm-up or a week long project. It can be completed with only the students in one single classroom or the combined efforts of different teachers and classes.

Examples of my classroom integration lessons are posted below.
