Investment Club
The Investment Club was founded in 2015 by then-seniors Matt Noles and Alex Matthew. The club is open to all students who would like to gain an understanding of investment opportunities around them.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
The club has focused recently on investing in the Stock Market and has participated in both state and national competitions offered by SIFMA and NCCEE. In the Fall of 2020, one of our teams placed 3rd in the Western Region for the NC Fall, The Stock Market Game competition.
In the Spring one placed 1st!
We also had another NC Investwrite winner in the Fall of 2020. Great job!
In 2015 a team consisting of students Matt Noles. Alex Matthew, Ellie Sweezey. Noah Goble and Micheal Caufield finished 5th in the National Capitol Hill Challenge. The team partnered with NC Senator Thom Tillis.
