School Messenger

Hello everyone,

School Messenger is the contact system we use in the district for sending notifications to our parents/guardians, employees and affiliates. We have routinely and successfully used School Messenger for announcing and promoting events, and also for a plethora of other notifications, such as CSE meeting reminders, student attendance, food services payment reminders, transportation incidents, bus schedule changes and snow closings.

Recently we have begun work to expand the use of School Messenger to aid in notifying employees of school safety emergencies. A few weeks ago the School Messenger system sent a text message to all employees for whom we have a cell phone number on file asking them to reply with a “Y” to allow messaging. If you did not receive this text, then the District Office does not have your current cell phone information on file; with this letter we are requesting your help to ensure we have the most accurate information on file for ALL employees.
