Raz-Plus

I have great news about Reading A-Z and Raz-Kids that I would like to share with teachers who use these programs!!! Reading A-Z and Raz-Kids have been combined and enhanced by Learning A-Z into a product they call Raz-Plus. Raz-Plus combines Instruction, Practice, Assessment and Reporting into one platform. At the same time, we have been working with Learning A-Z to automate accounts in Raz-Plus to make access easy for teachers and students through Clever. In order to access Raz-Plus, teachers and students should login through Clever at https://clever.com/in/riverheadcsd.

I am happy to report that all of the functions of both programs are still available but now from the Raz-Plus interface. Please review the following video to gain a better understanding of what Raz-Plus can do for you and your students.

Reading A-Z instructions:

(Important Note: Due to licensing restrictions imposed by Learning A-Z, we are no longer allowed to use the Staff Links shortcut to Reading A-Z as we have in the past. This means everyone who needs to access Reading A-Z must have a Raz-Plus account.) In order to get to the Leveled Reading Resources formerly in Reading A-Z, log into Learning A-Z through Clever then go up to the top of the page and click the grey button for Raz-Plus.

Once in Raz-Plus, your Leveled Reading Resources, Assessments, Read-Aloud Books, Projectables and more are available under Resources.

Raz-Kids instructions:

Once logged into Learning A-Z through Clever you can access your students and review their account details by clicking on My Classroom. Rostering is take care of through Clever so you don’t have to create your student accounts. When your students access Learning A-Z through Clever from a computer or Chromebook they will be logged into KidsA-Z. (Note: On Ipads, the Learning A-Z icon in Clever says no mobile support. Learning A-Z is working on a solution to this issue which is due out by December 2018. In the Interim, students can access Raz-Kids on Ipads or Android through the KidsA-Z app and login the traditional way)

Shared Rostering:

Shared rostering grants specialists and partner teachers the ability to view reports and adjust assignments for students outside their homeroom class. This leads to better collaboration with fellow teachers. To learn how to use this feature please review this 12-minute recorded Webinar.
