Freshman

Below are some general recommendations for freshman students to help them prepare for college:

• Take challenging classes in core academic subjects

• Get involved in school or community based activities that interest you or let you explore your interests

• Explore different career options utilizing the Career Exploration Search Engines under the Career Exploration tab

• Start a list of awards, honors, paid and volunteer work, and extracurricular activities. Update it throughout high school.
