Postive Behavior Support (PBS)

FSDB "3" Expectations

Florida School for the Deaf & the Blind students participate in Positive Behavior Support (PBS). Physical Education teachers will teach students appropriate social skills when to use these skills. Students will be expected behaviors, procedures, or routines in all settings through instruction and “teachable moments”.

Appropriate skills and behaviors will be consistently rewarding through praise, recognitions, and rewards. Pictured below is a "PBS Word Wall" completed by the elementary middle school students in the Blind Department.
