Spelling lists will be provided in your student's Thursday Folder each week. They will be tested on each list the following Friday. Please note:
Students will be scored (10) points for each correct answer and (1) bonus point for each correct challenge word.
Capitalization matters- students will be docked (1) point for each improper use of capitalization.
Handwriting matters- students are expected to use their best handwriting skills. If a word is illegible, it may result in docked points.
Short school weeks will not have a graded spelling test. We encourage students to continue their spelling practice regardless.
