Meet the Teachers

Mr. Torres

Mr. Torres will begin his fifth year of teaching and fourth year at Spears!  He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Elementary Education.  He lives in Frisco with his wife, KimVi and his dog, Riley. 

He enjoys working out, playing video games, spending time with his wife, and cooking (and then eating what he's cooked!). Mr. Torres also spends much time volunteering at his church, playing DnD and socializing with close friends. He looks forward to the new school year and is excited to begin another year here at Spears!

Mrs. Malloy will be starting her eleventh year in education and seventh year at Spears!  She lives in Frisco with her husband (Chris), 17 year old son (Connor), and 14 year old daughter (Avery).  

In her spare time, she loves going to her kids' sporting events, taking walks, reading historical fiction books, watching college football, and relaxing with her family and friends.  She is looking forward to another wonderful year in 3rd grade!

Mrs. Romanski

Mrs. Romanski starts her 23nd year of teaching and her 13th at Spears. This will be her 12th year with 3rd graders. She has also taught 4th and 5th grade. She is the UIL Ready Writing Coach for our campus. She lives in Plano with her husband (Jim) & son (Kevin). Her daughter (Heather) lives in Austin. She has two fabulous pets ~ an Australian Shepherd named Chaucer (Chaucey the Aussie), and a tabby cat named Finnegan the Red. 

When she’s not teaching, she loves hanging out with her family and friends, shopping, crafting, dining out, & binge watching cool shows.  She is looking forward to another amazing year with her 3rd graders!

Mrs. Forsong is super excited to to begin her third year at Spears Elementary! However, this is definitely not her first year in Frisco! She is a proud graduate of Frisco High School! 

After FHS, she attended UTD to play softball and study education. There she met her wonderful husband who is now the head golf coach at Emerson High School. They have two sweet daughters, Payton and Charley, who are also attend Hunt and Spears! 

This is Mrs. Forsong's 15th year in education and she is looking forward to making this the best school year, yet! 

Ms. Garis is excited to begin her fifth year at Spears Elementary!  This is her 18th year in education and she has taught third, fourth, and first graders.  She lives in McKinney and has a son, Garret, a daughter-in-law, Fianna, and a grandpuppy Souffle who live in San Francisco.  She enjoys creating mosaics & watercolor paintings, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  She is looking forward to a great year!!

Mrs. Klembara is excited to be back for her fifth year as a 3rd grade teacher at Spears Elementary.  

She is a Texas A&M graduate and lives here in Frisco with her husband, Kevin and two children, Matthew (18) and Sophie (16).  She also has a yellow lab named Max and a pomeranian husky named Sadie.  

In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.  

She is looking forward to another great year at Spears!
