Howdy! My name is Lizbeth Alvarez, and I am so excited to be part of the Sonntag family this year! I grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas, and this is my third year teaching. I earned my Master's degree in Reading from Texas A&M University, and I love helping young learners grow into confident readers. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me staying active or spending time with my sweet dog, Zelda. I'm looking forward to this memorable year.
