Hi! My name is JoAnn Watts, and I am the Physical Education Aide here at Sem Elementary. I am beyond thrilled to be part of the Sem family and to have the opportunity to work alongside Coach Percle!
I began my teaching career with Frisco ISD in 2014, and from 2016 to 2024, I had the joy of serving as the Lead PE Teacher at McSpedden Elementary. I transferred to Sem in 2024, bringing with me a love for physical fitness and a deep commitment to promoting health and wellness among students.
My husband and I have called Frisco home since 2008. We have two children, both proud graduates of the University of Oklahoma! Needless to say, we are die-hard college football fans! 🏈❤️
BOOMER SOONER!☝️
I hold a B.S. in Education from the University of North Texas, and teaching PE isn't just my job—it is my passion. I believe strongly in creating a fun, positive environment where students can develop healthy habits and a love for being active that will last a lifetime.
My goal is simple: to make P.E. your child's favorite part of the day! I look forward to an amazing year filled with movement, laughter, learning, and lots of fun!
