Hello!
My name is JoAnn Watts, I am the Physical Education Aide here at Sem Elementary and beyond thrilled to work alongside Coach Percle!
I began my teaching career with Frisco ISD in 2014, and from 2016 to 2024, I had the joy of serving as the lead PE teacher at McSpedden Elementary. I transferred to Sem in 2024, bringing with me 12 years of experience, a great enthusiasm for physical fitness, and a deep commitment to promoting health and wellness among students.
My husband Bill and our two children moved to Frisco in 2008. Our son just graduated from the University of Oklahoma (almost completely off the payroll!), and our daughter is stepping into her senior year there this fall. With that being said, I am a die-hard college football fan!! - #BOOMERSOONER!!!
I hold a B.S. in Education from the University of North Texas, and PE isn't just my job—it’s my passion. I believe strongly in fostering fun, healthy habits that students will carry with them for life. My goal is to make P.E. your child’s favorite part of the day!!
