PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM

Positive recognition is the focus of this program, rather than competition. Students of all ages and abilities can experience

the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique perspective.

Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest

nationwide program of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.

If you are interested in participating in the PTA Reflections Contest, please follow the steps below:

· The students or at least one person from their primary household must be a current member of the PTA.

· Each entry must also conform to the guidelines developed by the National PTA.

· Arts Categories:

o Dance Choreography

o Film Production

o Literature

o Music Composition

o Photography

o Visual Arts

· Completed student entry form with all required signatures attached to the back.

· Student entries must include a title & an artist statement.

· Each entry must be the original work of one student only.

· Use of copyrighted material is prohibited.

· DUE DATE TO SEM OFFICE: by Thursday, October 31, 2023
