About Scoggins STEAM Night

What is STEAM Night?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Our goal is for the students at Scoggins Middle School to shine as they demonstrate their skills as a scientist, technologist, engineer, and mathematician; all while incorporating the arts. STEAM Night will be a community event involving students from Scoggins Middle School, Comstock Elementary, Elliott Elementary, and Ogle Elementary. The Scoggins STEAM Innovators will lead hands-on learning activities in each of the fields of STEAM. Students from the three elementary schools and guests will have an opportunity to experience STEAM in the real world by participating in exciting STEAM activities. In addition to the activities, we will also have Scoggins students showcasing their STEAM projects for guests and STEAM professionals. We want our students to have fun, explore, and experience STEAM in the real world. For more information and project ideas, click on "How can I participate in STEAM Night?".
