Hello!
My name is Kaitlyn Bennett, and I am so excited to welcome you and your child to our kindergarten family! This is my 9th year teaching and my 5th year at Phillips Elementary. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to teach both 1st and 3rd grade, and I am thrilled to begin this new adventure in kindergarten! I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino, and I have a true passion for helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
My family and I moved to Texas from Southern California in 2021, and we have loved making this community our home. My husband and I have two wonderful children, Lincoln and Millie, who keep life fun and full of adventure! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, tackling creative projects, and making all kinds of fun things. Creativity has always been a big part of who I am, and I love bringing that creativity into my classroom to make learning exciting and memorable.
I can't wait to partner with you this year as we help your child learn, grow, build confidence, and create wonderful kindergarten memories. It's going to be an amazing year!
