Hi! I'm so excited to be continuing my teaching journey at Ogle Elementary this year! This will be my 8th year teaching at Ogle! I’ve previously taught 2nd grade and 1st grade.

I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, crafting, traveling, and shopping with my daughter.

Teaching is my passion and I’m so lucky to get to do what I love everyday. I can’t wait to meet you all.

Riley Pirtle

Hello! My name is Riley Pirtle, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! We are going to have a fun year learning and growing together.

I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!) with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. This will be my fourth year teaching and in Kindergarten at Ogle!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, going to concerts, reading, playing pickleball, and going on walks. I look forward to getting to know your family this year and working together to further your child's learning!

Cara Baltazar

Hello! My name is Cara Baltazar and I am so excited to start my 3rd year at Ogle Elementary and 14th year in education!

I am from Northwest Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, ESL Endorsement and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I have been a National Board-Certified Teacher since 2013 with focus in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood. I recently completed my Principal Certification through Lamar University!

My family moved to Texas in 2024 after my husband retired from the Army. Over the past 18 years I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, ESL and a few years as a stay-at-home mom in Arkansas, Colorado, North Carolina and Kansas. We have three daughters ages 13, 11 and 7 who keep us very busy!

I enjoy spending time with our family, working out and doing puzzles. I am looking forward to teaching your child this year! Kindergarten is such a fun year filled with so many new experiences!

Susan Day

Hello Kinder Families! My name is Susan Day and I am absolutely thrilled to be working as a Kindergarten teacher here at Ogle! I have been working in education for 5 years, supporting students across a variety of grade levels.

I moved to Texas from California and I feel so welcomed by this wonderful community. When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time outdoors, reading, baking sweet treats, and exploring new places. I'm looking forward to a year of FUN!
