Hi families, I am so excited to have your kid in Kindergarten this year!

My name is Lainie Shellum (Bittick)  and I cannot wait for this upcoming school year. I wanted to let you know a little bit about me before the school year starts. This is going to be my first year teaching and I am so thankful I get to begin teaching at Norris. 

I grew up in the DFW area in a town called Keller, Tx. I have 3 sisters who are my best friends. My mom and older sister are both teachers. My mom taught 7th and 8th grade and my sister teaches 4th grade. I graduated from Texas A&M this past May where I received my degree in education. I met my husband Jeff at A&M my sophomore year, and got married July 11, 2025! 

I am truly so excited for this upcoming school year and getting to partner with your child to learn and grow together! Thank you for trusting and sharing your kid with me. Please contact me with any questions you have. I cannot wait to work together to make this an amazing year in Kindergarten!
