HELLO!

My name is Jill Trevino and I am THRILLED to be teaching Fifth Grade Reading, Writing, and OLC!  This is my 15th year teaching, and my fourth year in Fifth Grade.  I spent the first 11 years of my career teaching Kindergarten and 4th grade.  This year is my 10th year at Norris!  I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2009 with my Bachelor's, and in 2018 from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with my Master's Degree in Reading Education.  My goal is to instill a deep love of reading into each student.

I got married in March to Mr. Trevino, and together we have four kids.  Our boys go to Nelson and Independence, and both attended Norris Elementary.  Our daughters attend school in their home district.  

This year is going to be a great one and I look forward to the memories and growth we will make together.  I am beyond excited to help your students complete their time in elementary school!
