Hi, I’m Taura Jackson, and I’m currently in my second year teaching fifth-grade reading here at Miller. I have a Master’s degree in Education and a real passion for helping my students grow as readers. I love teaching strategies that help them become more confident and capable, and I always try to make reading fun and engaging. My goal is to inspire students to explore different genres and discover the kinds of books they truly enjoy.

This year, I’m excited to also be teaching writing and social studies! I’m looking forward to helping students express themselves through writing and make meaningful connections to the world around them through social studies. It’s going to be a great year full of learning and growth!
