Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Natalie Gilbert and I am so excited to start an amazing year with you! It will be my fourth year teaching at McSpedden and I am so thrilled to be a part of this community.
I was born and raised in Texas and graduated from University of North Texas in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I grew up watching my mom teach and spent most of my time in her classroom which fostered a love and appreciation for teaching. In our classroom, we are a family and we practice respect and acceptance for everyone. I look forward to teaching students everyday and watching them grow as scholars and future ready citizens.
I am the youngest of 3 awesome older brothers who have given me 6 of the coolest nieces and nephews ever! :) I have a dog-child named Saint. He is a 6 year old Bloodhound Mix that I adopted from the Denton Animal Shelter 6 years ago. Saint and I enjoy going on hikes together in our spare time (and when the weather is nice) and playing fetch. When I’m not teaching, I love to catch up with my friends and family. I enjoy getting my nails done and grabbing a coffee from Summer Moon after shopping at Target. I cannot wait for another exciting year of getting to know your family and kiddos!
