Mrs. Harvey

My name is Lauren Harvey, and I am thrilled to be in my fifth year of teaching first grade, at Isbell!

I am a Frisco High School graduate, (Go Racoons!), and I earned my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington. I have spent my career in education, including teaching kindergarten, first and second grade in Frisco ISD.

I live in McKinney with my husband, James; and our two precious boys, Jameson (3) and Dawson (born June 2023).  We also have three dogs, Digger, Kosmo, and Cowher. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and doing anything outdoors.

I look forward to an incredible year of growth in your child’s academic foundations, responsibility, character, and creativity. My main goal is to make every child feel safe, loved, and successful.

First grade is an impactful time in the life of children, and it is an honor to serve you and your child this year!
