About Mrs. Butler

Hi! My name is Courtney Butler and I am thrilled to be the counselor at Hosp Elementary. Hosp is a wonderful school and I am very excited to return to work with the wonderful students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Please know my door is always open. I know that working together will make your child’s year at Hosp a very successful one.

Here is a little about myself. I grew up in San Antonio. I attended the University of North Texas and received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I then went on to Amberton University and earned my Masters of Art degree in School Counseling.

This will be my eleventh year in education and eighth year in FISD. My certifications are in School Counseling Early Childhood-twelfth grade, Early Childhood- sixth grade and ESL. I love connecting with students and families to create a community of lifelong learners that extends beyond the walls of our school.

Throughout the year I will be providing guidance lessons to all classrooms, conducting small group counseling, and working individually with students and parents.

My desire as the counselor of Hosp is to make ALL students in our community know they are cared for, capable of overcoming challenges, and connecting with people that will help them grow. Please feel free to contact me anytime without hesitation.
