¡Bienvenidos! Me llamo Melissa Banda. Estoy muy emocionada de estar aquí en la Escuela Primaria Carroll como maestra bilingüe de tercer grado. Este es mi decimonoveno año como educadora bilingüe. Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en Dallas en la carrera de Aprendizaje y Desarrollo Infantil.

Nací aquí en Dallas, Texas, pero mi familia es de México. Mi mamá es de Michoacán y mi papá es de Matehuala. Tengo tres hermanas menores y un hermano mayor. Tengo dos hijos, Adán y Álex, que son mi mundo. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta ver programas, leer libros y nadar.

Welcome! My name is Melissa Banda. I am very excited to be here at Carroll Elementary School as a third-grade bilingual teacher. This is my nineteenth year as a bilingual educator. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Child Learning and Development.

I was born here in Dallas, Texas, but my family is from Mexico. My mom is from Michoacán and my dad is from Matehuala. I have three younger sisters and an older brother. I have two sons, Adán and Álex. In my free time, I enjoy watching shows, reading books, and swimming.
