Maricela Menjivar

¡Bienvenidos! Mi nombre es Maricela Menjivar. Estoy muy contenta de estar en la Primaria Carroll como maestra Bilingüe de Artes de Lenguaje de tercer grado. Este será mi doceavo año como maestra. He trabajado como maestra de primer grado, tercer grado y quinto grado. Me gradué de la universidad de North Texas con un Bachillerato de Artes Interdisciplinarias de maestra bilingüe.

Yo nací en Dallas, TX pero mi familia es de Mexico. Mi familia es pequeña pero muy unida. Soy la menor de cuarto, tengo dos hermanos y una hermana. En mi tiempo libre me gusta ver películas, ir a comer a nuevos restaurantes y pasar tiempo con mi esposo Walter, nuestros hijos Sebastián y Santiago y mi familia. 

¡Estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo/a este año escolar! ¡Sé que si trabajamos juntos vamos a tener un año exitoso!

Hello! My name is Maricela Menjivar, I am very excited to start my fourth year at Carroll Elementary team as the Third Grade Bilingual Language Arts teacher. This will be my twelfth year in education, I have previously taught first grade, third grade and fifth grade. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and my family is originally from Mexico. I have a small family but we are very close. I am the youngest of four, I have two brothers and a sister. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, trying out new restaurants and spending time with my husband Walter, our sons Sebastian and Santiago! 

I am so excited to be a part of the Carroll Team! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year! I know that if we all work together we will have a successful school year!
