¡Hola! 

Estoy muy contenta de comenzar este nuevo ciclo escolar aquí en la comunidad. Soy nueva en la ciudad, ya que antes vivía en El Paso, Texas, una ciudad fronteriza que siempre será muy especial para mí. Estudié en la Universidad de Texas en El Paso, donde obtuve mi licenciatura en Educación EC-6 con certificación bilingüe. Durante mi residencia, trabajé en un salón de 5.º grado en un programa de lenguaje dual, una experiencia que me ayudó a reafirmar lo mucho que disfruto apoyar a los estudiantes en su desarrollo académico y lingüístico.

Me encanta ayudar a mis alumnos a crecer, adaptando la enseñanza a sus necesidades, celebrando sus culturas y creando un ambiente donde se sientan seguros, motivados y con ganas de aprender.

Disfruto mucho viajar, leer y mantenerme activa. En un día común me puedes encontrar al aire libre, corriendo, conociendo nuevos cafecitos o practicando algún deporte.

Estoy muy emocionada por todo lo que este nuevo año traerá, y sobre todo, por conocer a mis estudiantes y sus familias.

Hi!

 I'm so excited to start this new school year here in this community. I recently moved from El Paso, Texas, a border city where I was born and raised. I studied at The University of Texas at El Paso, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in EC-6 Education with a Bilingual Certification. I completed my teaching residency in a 5th grade dual language classroom, which helped me grow my love for teaching and supporting students in both languages.

I enjoy helping students grow by giving them the tools they need to learn in ways that work best for them. I believe in celebrating our different cultures and building a strong love for learning in the classroom.

In my free time, I love to travel, read, and stay active. You’ll often find me outside running, hiking, exploring new coffee shops or playing sports.

I’m really looking forward to this school year and getting to know my students and their families!
