Frequently Asked Questions 

What are the library's hours?

The Carroll Library is open Monday-Friday from 7:30-2:55.  

 

How many books can my student checkout?

Students in Pre-K and kindergarten may checkout one book at a time; first graders may check out two books at a time; all other students may checkout three books at a time.

 

How long is the loan period?

It is a two week period.  

 

Is there a fee for overdue books?

There is no overdue fees, but students should return books on time so that the books are available for others to checkout.

 

What happens if a book is damaged or lost?

Please email Mrs. Denham to get the price of the book then access the Lost / Damaged Books tab on this website for further directions.

Payment for lost or damaged books must be via credit card.  As a result, that money is not accessible and can't be returned to you if you happen to find the book.  It is important that you be sure that the book is lost before paying for it.

 

May parents checkout books?

Parents may checkout five books for a two week period.  All the parent needs is a library account here at Carroll, and that only takes a few minutes to set up!
