HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS
Click the link below to access the list of our Kindergarten high frequency words. These words are also referred to as Sight Words. SIght words are selected because they appear most often in printed material. Every 9 weeks, your child will be assessed on their ability to identify the high frequency words. Children should be able to recognize these words quickly and accurately by the end of the academic year. Sight word knowledge is extremely valuable in your child becoming a fluent and confident reader. Practice with them often!
