Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

Hi families! My name is Lisette Chastain. My husband, Hunter, and I are expecting our first child (a baby girl!) this November!  This will be my seventh year teaching in Frisco ISD and I'm thrilled for another year in Kindergarten here at Carroll Elementary.

I graduated from Kansas State University (Go Wildcats!) in the fall of 2018 with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, with an emphasis in Spanish.

I grew up in Coppell, Texas, and I know that Texas will always be home. I’m also a proud twin—my sister has five amazing children, and I love traveling to Ohio to spend time with them whenever I can. We also have 11 nieces and nephews who live locally, so we stay around kids 24/7 😂. When I'm not in the classroom or spending time with family & friends, I enjoy watching new (scary) movies & reality tv, cheering on the Dallas Mavericks & Dallas Stars, concerts, traveling, spending time at the lake, playing pickleball, and playing card games.  

I am so excited to get to know you and your kindergartener this year. Kindergarten is such a fun year filled with so many things to learn and goals to reach.
