Hello Bright Academy! 

My name is Natalya Nelson, and I am so excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher this year! While this is my first year officially teaching, I had the amazing opportunity to student teach right here at Bright Academy last year, and I’m so happy to continue being part of this incredible community.

I’m all about helping students grow into confident, curious, and kind learners. We’ll focus on building character, thinking critically, and getting future-ready—while having fun along the way! 

Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my dog, watching movies, and trying out new foods. 

I can't wait for a fantastic year in 5th grade!
